Terms and Conditions
Terms for donations, payments and bookings on haslat.com
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. General
The website haslat.com is operated by the Kehilat Haslat non-profit association (amuta no. 58-0728079), Yehuda Halevi 13, Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv 6515450, tel. +972 3-330-1960, email [email protected] (“the community”).
These terms apply to every donation, payment or booking made on the site: donations, Kiddush sponsorship, Kiddush for 10, and Shabbat and holiday meals. Making a payment on the site means you accept these terms.
Payments are processed by the secure Nedarim Plus system. Card details are entered directly in that system and are never stored by the community’s website.
2. Service delivery
Donation: once the payment is confirmed, a Section 46 tax receipt is emailed to the address provided, usually within minutes and no later than 7 days.
Kiddush / Kiddush for 10: the booking is recorded for the chosen Shabbat and confirmed immediately on screen and by email or WhatsApp. The Kiddush takes place at the synagogue on that Shabbat, with the dedication chosen (unless given anonymously).
Shabbat and holiday meals: registration is confirmed on payment, for the number of seats paid. The meal takes place on the announced date and venue.
If the community cannot provide the service on the planned date (e.g. an event is cancelled), it will offer another date or a full refund.
3. Age requirement
Payments on the site may only be made by persons aged 18 or over who are the lawful holders of the payment method. Minors may pay only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
4. Cancellation policy
Cancellations follow the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations.
Donation: a donation can be cancelled within 14 days of payment, in writing (email or WhatsApp) or by phone. It is refunded in full, with no cancellation fee, to the original payment method, and the receipt is cancelled. A monthly donation can be stopped at any time, free of charge.
Kiddush, Kiddush for 10 and meals: cancellation is possible within 14 days of booking, provided it is made at least 7 working days before the Shabbat or the meal. The amount is then refunded minus a fee of 5% of the transaction or ₪100, whichever is lower. Later cancellations are not refundable, as these are catering services for a specific date (Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 2010).
Refunds are made within 14 days of the cancellation notice. To cancel: [email protected] or +972 3-330-1960.
5. Privacy
The community undertakes that the details of its customers and donors (name, phone, email, ID number and any other information) will not be passed on to any third party, sold, or used for anyone else’s advertising.
This information is used only to process the payment, issue the receipt, confirm the booking and keep in touch with community members. It is shared only with the providers strictly needed to carry out the transaction (payment processing, receipt issuing), to the minimum extent necessary, or where required by law.
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop receiving messages, by writing to [email protected].
6. Miscellaneous
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the Hebrew version prevails.
